Here is a 100+ YEAR OLD matched PAIR of left and right hand "rat trap" pedals that came with some old 28" wood wheel bicycle parts.  I believe the bike was made somewhere around the Turn of the Century (Totc) or the early 1900s, maybe teens. I appreciate them but I am not an expert on these. There is some hard to find stuff!
The pedals are a matched pair and comes exactly as shown. I did zero cleaning to them. They clean up better than you think with time invested. They have age but are so cool. I got these exactly like you see them! They look like art to me! They are beautiful. They show age and come exactly as you see them.
Great for display parts or restoration! That cool era of bikes such as Schwinn, Mead, Windsor, Ranger, Elgin, Hawthorne, Hiawatha, Pope, Columbia, Harley Davidson, Davis Sewing, Iver Johnson, Indian, Flying Merkel, Dayton, Lobdell, etc etc etc. There were many manufacturers back then and almost none of this stuff survived!
Has been in very very long term storage and comes as shown!
*The bikes and parts of this era are very cool and are a super RARE find in ANY condition these days! Have you ever heard of the World War 2 Scrap Drives? Basically the government collected up anything that was made of metal to help out with the war efforts. It gave communities a great sense of pride to donate ANY extra pots, pans, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, etc to help produce items for the war effort. If people had 2 pans and only realyl needed one, they would give up the extra. So, this era of motorbikes were almost 20-30+ years old at the time. They were simply considered used bicycles then so very few of them survived. I am really happy the items I have available right now did survive!
