Circa 1910 hand colored Tingley hall, Claflin University Orangeburg, S.C. made in Germany. There is an unusual message on Postcard side. The writer says she likes this part of the country very well, but oh those horrid swamps. She goes on to say that a woman said she hopes it gets cold for if it doesn't, we shall all have the fever. She asked what kind of fever, and she says, well any kind bilious, yellow fever, fever taghai, chills fever, typhoid, or any other.
