DISCUSSION:
The Kugelhaus, designed by Peter Birkenholz, was built for the annual Deutscher Arbeit exhibition in Dresden, and served as both an exhibition building and coffee shop, with outstanding views of the exhibition and surrounding gardens. Known as the first “ball-house” in the world, this remarkable spherical structure was of course seen as very very “un-German” by the Nazis and was demolished in 1938.

OVERSEAS BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:
Our International shipping charges are based on the weight, when boxed for shipping, of each item -please check the postage chart for the cost of shipping to your country. We offer “combined shipping charges” for orders for more than one item –this often means the shipping cost for the items is less than it would have been if they had been purchased and shipped one at a time, so please ask us for a shipping quote if you are thinking about buying more than one item.
