1930's Victor Vending Special Deluxe Penny Operated Machine. Please read all the details and look over all 12 pictures. Not very common of a machine especially in orange porcelain. I like to give as much in details as possible so here we go. This vendor was frozen up and been sitting for decades. It had pennies in it from 1911 to 1952 when I got it open. The top is usually chrome plated. Plating is gone, been cleaned up somewhat though. Working lock now with key. The glass globe is original. Decal is a new paper copy. The glass is not damaged but about half is now clouded up from salted peanuts laying in it for decades. Must have been laying on it side forever. I will pack the glass separately. The porcelain has chipping as shown in the pictures. You can also see the center area of the cast iron just above the vending wheel is cracked in this center area. The stress over the years has cracked it. There is a 1/4" bolt that goes through the top of the vending area and it being tightened down over the years has stressed out the center casting. It is still holding together just letting you know about it. I also keep this bolt somewhat loose when assembling. This bolt keeps both orange porcelain parts together once the globe is removed. The vending wheel is pretty good still. I noticed that if you tighten the top lock very much, the vending wheel hangs more so it is rubbing in the center area. Keep this in mind. I would keep the top lock about a 1/2 turn loose when assembling it back. The machine does work but sometimes it catches somewhat and needs an extra pull and help with the return spring back to starting position. Not a great example but a survivor now. I will pack it well for the trip. UPS in the U.S. 48 is 35.00
