    Super sturdy bicycle rear carrier for 26" balloon bikes of the 1940s-50s.  I believe
    these were Wald but I have often seen them used on the post war Schwinn Whizzers
    as well as a host of other bikes of the era.   Very sturdy construction and these
    rarely bend as even the Schwinn versions and others are prone to.
