    Description

    1940s Sieber Swiss Antique Track Bicycle with Wood Rims.
    This was my grandfathers track bicycle and has been sitting in a garage for 80+ years. The rims are wooden tubular rims with the original hand sewn tires still glued on. The rear rim is a bit different from the front and appears a bit older. The front rim has a brake track for a front caliper brake. The rear is a flip-flop hub with a fixed gear on one side and a freewheel on the other. The bike pedals fine, but I haven't tried to put my weight on it and actually ride it.
    My Grandfather purchased it from Shinns Bike Shack in San Francisco.
    I tried to take detailed pictures so that you can see the condition, but I am happy to answer any questions. The lugs have some beautiful painted patterns that would look amazing with some restoration skill, something I do not possess.
