    Description

This is a 1963 Schwinn Bicycle Built for Two frame, fork, headset, and chainguard.
It is for Schwinn 26," middleweight, S-7 wheels.
The model is actually called Bicycle Built for Two. You can still see the lettering on the chainguard.
The Bicycle Built for Two is fairly uncommon since it was only built in 1963 and 1964.
Notice it is lady-rear design with a boys front and girls back.
The Schwinn Twinn Tandem, which came out in 1964, was step-through front and step-through rear or girls both front and rear. It was built for a number of years into the 1970s and is much more common.
Serial number J3 or Sept. 1963.
