1 New Stainless Steel 6" Wedge Bolt for Vintage Schwinn Bicycle and Other Brand Quill Stems / Goosenecks
You are Buying one (1) New Stainless Steel 6" Bolt for Vintage Bicycle Quill Stems. Vintage Stems from around the 1930s to 1980 that use an Angled Cast Wedge Nut or L Style Stamped Angled Wedge Nut.
This New Bolt is Recommended for Common Cast Vintage Riser Stems that Measure right around from 5 1/4" Long Top to Bottom ( where the wedge bolt goes and without bolt ) Pretty Common Size, Works with Postwar Schwinn Razor Phantom Stems, Cast Schwinn Riser 7/8 Stems (Pre 1966), 13/16" Cast Schwinn Riser Stems (1966 and Later) Typically Schwinn Cast Cruiser and Stingray Stems, and Others Brand Stems Sized like described above.  DOES NOT work with Prewar Shorter Stems, AS Schwinn Stem off a Deluxe Middleweight, and Cast Schwinn Road Stems ( No Rise No Go). Does Not work with Newer Stems and Wedges that have metric threading.
It is very important that you measure your Stem and Determine if this size is Correct for you as this is a New Replacement Bolt that has Limited Adjustment and we sell different sizes.
The Stem Wedge Bolt from the bottom of the head down is approximately 5 15/16" long, with 15/16" of thread, and with a 1/2" hex drive top. There is only 15/16" of thread so it has limited adjustment and size is Key. These are New Spec 5/16 Diameter with 24 tpi ( threads per inch ) Bolt. The thread pattern is common to most American Vintage Bike Stems, Schwinn Included.  Bolt will not work with Metric Threaded Wedges Common to New and Some Reproduction Parts. This Stem Wedge Bolt that had markings on top, The markings have been removed for blending on Vintage Bikes,
The Bolt is Stainless Steel and will not rust and has a Subdued Clean Antique look.
