    Description

    This a drop forged stem from a 1965 Schwinn Racer.
    7/8" diameter
    The stem is not embossed with the date.
    The drop forged stem was used on higher end Schwinns including the Sting Ray, Krate, Panther etc.
    The stem is 7/8" diameter as opposed to the the later 13/16" Schwinn stems.
    The 13/16" stem takes the tapered top nut in the headset. The 7/8" top nut has straight sides.
