Antique, Boxed JAPANESE SILK EMBROIDERED 3-PC CHILD'S PAJAMA OUTFIT W/ SLIPPERS

This auction is for an antique, 3-piece Japanese style, child's outfit, complete with slippers and a silk/satin covered presentation box. The outfit consists of embroidered top, robe, pants, and a pair of slippers. Marked "L", for large? Red in color. The embroidered top is long sleeved, gathered at the waist and sleeves. The bust measures 34", sleeves - 12 1/2", shoulders - 14", waist - 24", and overall length - 18". The elastic has deteriorated and there is a break in the lace on the outer edge of the collar, backside. Slight faded discoloration. The pants measure 25 1/2" long and the waist measures approx. 20". There is slight daing discoloration and the elastic waistband has deteriorated. The fur trimmed slippers measure 7 1/4" long. The jacket, or robe has two front pockets and a tie, and white satin collar. The chest measures approx. 34", the sleeve length is 13 1/2", overall length is 25" and the shoulders measure 12 1/2". There is a small spot stain on the collar, and slight fading discoloration. The outfit comes in a satin covered presentation box with handle and snap closure. The inside of the box has a small mirror on the inside cover and a pocket to hold the slippers. The box cloth covering has faded and the cardboard lid is separating. Old and original.
