ANTIQUE EMBROIDERY LINEN SHOW TOWEL KATE GREENAWAY GIRLS!
Wonderful hand embroidered fine linen show towel in excellent condition. Delightful scene of 3 doll-like children in Bonnets by a tree with lots of blossoms on it, nearby a fence and a house in the background, lots of detail. And hand stitched in red by the fringe, great work! Early textile show towel with  Kate Greenaway Turkey Red embroidery. No odors, holes or stains, has been in my smoke free home for 20 YEARS! I have had it on a towel bar and HAVE NOT LAUNDERED IT!  Just slightly toned where I have pointed and some tiny spots, see dime in the photos, hardly bothersome.  A little sweet and desirable textile patina.  Measures 17 ¼ x 43. A true antique Treasure!
