This listing is for an antique Wards Riverside Runabout 28” single tube tire. Date code is U-3-S. It also has “war tire” stamped into it. This tire has heavy wear and it definitely not rideable. For display use only.
This item will be packaged very securely in a picture frame box.
My Dad started a bicycle shop in 1929 and added motorcycles in 1948 then retired in 1987. The motorcycle shop closed down and the bicycle shop continued and is still running today. For about 15 years he collected antique and vintage bicycles (over 1,100 bicycles). I have a warehouse with his collection. I am narrowing it down to make a nice museum. I will be selling overstock, duplicates and miscellaneous. Just getting an assortment on here of the 1000's of bicycle and motorcycle items to list. The last photos show the museum that I am working on.
