1. A total of 78 swimmers aged between 15 and 35 will represent OUR TEAM at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Para Pan Pacs in Los Angeles and at the Hancock Prospecting Pan Pacific Championships on the Gold Coast – watch them # Swim4Gold.
2. OUR TEAM has won a total of 599 Commonwealth Games Medals – including 256 gold, 183 silver and 160 bronze… see them # Swim4Gold in Glasgow and medal no. 600.
3. OUR TEAM trains in more than 40 pools around Australia, up to 10 sessions a week for a total of around 25,000km per month… now that’s a lot of laps… half a million to be exact.
4. When they are not training or racing OUR TEAM surfs, dunks, sleeps, eats, rests, rides, walks, slides, shops, cooks, tweets and dreams about what it means to # Swim4Gold…
5. Around 75% of OUR TEAM learnt to swim before they could walk… or talk. And like 6.2 million Australians who swim each year enjoy the health and fitness benefits of swimming…
6. From Fred Lane in 1900 to Lane 4 in 2014, more than 1,000 Australians have swum for OUR TEAM, swum for the Green & Gold and # Swim4Gold for Australia.
7. OUR TEAM will go to Para Pan Pacs in California having won more than 100 medals at the last two major meets – including 18 gold, 7 silver and 12 bronze at London Paralympic Games.
8. OUR TEAM has won 70 gold medals at 11 Pan Pacific Championships. See them # Swim4Gold at the new Gold Coast Aquatic Centre from August 21-25 in the pool and in the open water.

10. OUR TEAM eats sushi, salad, bananas, pasta, rice, beef, porridge, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, boiled eggs, chia seeds, grains, bread, fruit and veggies… but only three of them have ever tried Haggis.
