    Description

Same exact style/ size as all my 63, 64 and 65 20 inch Stingray guards, think it was on a 64 Standard Stingray at one time if I remember correctly. Laid this guard down on a 64 Standard Stingray guard, same exact size. Auction is for one blue Stingray chainguard, original paint and screen as shown in the photos posted. Been in storage for several decades. Has scratches, blemishes, nicks, the screen and paint shows wear, Schwinn lettering faded as shown, but is in overall good condition in my opinion. Small ding below the letter S I tried to show in third photo. I have never cleaned this guard, back is very clean. (see all photos as they show condition of guard better than a written description). Comes with the mounting hardware taped to the back of guard. This is a used guard but is an original survivor wingtip Stingray Chainguard that in my opinion would look great on a fair to good original paint early Stingray. Measures 13 inches between the mounting holes. This guard is identical in size and shape to an early standard or deluxe Wingtip Stingray guard except for lettering/screen, size and dimensions are the same. It is the exact size as a 1964 Stingray guard I just put it up next to. Looks to be the exact same guard and dimensions that would fit on early coaster brake Stingray bikes, and believe it to be the correct for early standard Stingrays, but I make no warranties or representations on which bikes this will fit on. Sold AS-IS with no returns, so look at all photos I have posted, auction is for one chainguard that is featured in all the photos. First 3 photos taken inside, last 9 photos taken in daylight. Shipped within USA only. Shipping will be .95, my choice of type and carrier, or pick it up from me in San Jose for free. Selling here on Ebay since 1998, same username, 100% positive feedback, majority of items sold were Stingray related.
The marking on top of guard in next to the last photo looks and feels like it might be permanent. I have not tried to rub it out or remove it.
