I am selling many of my fine tools (Bridge City, Lie Nielsen, etc.).  Many of these tools are brand new, or have only been on display in my tool cabinets/chests.  Many are no longer made and are becoming hard to acquire.
This auction is for a Bridge City Tool Works SA-3 Bent Tip Scratch Awl.  It is new and has not been used.  It is such an elegant tool.  The wood is stunning on this tool.  There is a lot of color and “fire” in the wood.  The bent tip is so useful to mark things, push pieces of wood, etc.  I use my other one all the time.  This will be a wonderful tool to add to your collection or to use when doing your finest hand tool woodworking.
SA-3 BENT TIP SCRATCH AWL
The SA-3 Awl is a standard-length awl with a long bent tip and fine, hardened steel point used for scribing lines in confined spaces. This tool is also useful in many other situations where a thin shaft can assist you in your intent. From leather working to starting screws to using as a push stick this is the most common size awl.  Overall length is approximately 8 inches.
