When I first took this out of the package, it looked like a flat piece of cloth. Once I started working with it, the very simple tube design fit into multiple uses as shown on the package. On a cold day my neck tends to be the most vulnerable part. This band takes care of that so my neck stays comfortably warm on a work day, and on rides. The band does not get blown around like a scarf does. This band is around my neck every morning these days. On a weekend ride it makes me more visible and adds to my safety as well. I ride a recumbent tricycle, so my legs above my knees take maximum sun exposure. After keeping my neck warm early on a ride, I can transfer the band to my leg. I’m going to need another band so I can cover that high exposure part of both legs during the rest of the day. After a work day or ride I can easily throw this in the wash with my other active wear.

So far, I have worn some of the bands and washed some of them. They look great and perform well. I wear them all the time to keep my neck warm, and I even use them under a mock neck and pull them up over my face while i work on the rail road tracks. They don’t fog up my glasses like a scarf would, but they prevent frostbite in subzero temperatures. I don’t throw them in the dryer because they dry very quickly on their own when I hang them on a pants hanger.
