Up for auction is this used bicycle part.
This is the wheel set
removed from a prewar Roadmaster men's 26" balloon tire bike.
I am dating the bike to 1936 using the serial number Z14516.
Bike was built by Cleveland Welding Co.
Please see photos for condition - condition is as shown.
This listing is for the front and rear wheels as shown.
It looks like we have a good mix of original and used other parts, here.
The deep well rims look original, but have been painted gloss black.
The tires look original - they are Sears Allstate 26x2.125 nylon tires.
Tires have some cracking - the front tire has more than the rear.
Still useable and holding air.
The front hub is a Schwinn script.
The rear hub is a Morrow with a P2 date stamp.
Solid replacement.
Shipping out west is expensive on these, but I do not control that.
