This listing is for the stained glass with wood frame and chain as shown in the photos. The sun beams are a clear water crystal blue. This can be a great addition to any room. Can also make a great gift! The “approximate” measurements are 16 3/8 inches length by 7 1/16 inches wide. The glass by itself is approximately 13 3/8 by 4 1/16)
This piece was handmade by me. Please see photos for imperfections in the glass, wood and soldering. The glass is not cracked anywhere and sits tight in the wood frame. The wood has been stained with a color called Gunstock.
The piece was made using the copper foil method and the lead used to attach the glass is a 60/40 type. If interested, you can find quite a bit on the Internet about this method and I am also happy to answer questions as well.
The chain and hooks are black and the loop of the chain can easily go around (and be taken off) the hooks. The chain measures approximately 22 inches.
I will pack carefully and will use thick foam and/or packing peanuts to mitigate the chance of breakage. I will insure the mailing package for the final selling price. If there is any damage due to shipping, please let me know! If this occurs, I kindly request that you work directly with USPS to submit a claim to directly receive reimbursement. I’m thinking that would be easiest for all involved (as you will need to show them the broken item).
