Up for auction is this used bicycle part.
This is the wheel set
removed from a postwar JC Higgins model 505 men's 26" bike.
Please see photos for condition - condition is as shown.
The rear hub is a 3 speed 333 made in Japan.
The front hub is a Wald brand.
Both hubs working fine.
Tires are old Carlisle Lightning Dart 26 x 2.125 and hold air fine.
The front tires has some cracking in spots.
The rear tire has a 3/4" slit in it that exposes the cord (no cracking).
Rims are repop with nice chrome.
Solid replacement.
These are expensive to ship far west - ask postal service why.
