For those looking for the original Marples Blue Chip chisels -- the ones with the little white ring adjacent to the handle . . . here they are.  I won't say that the newer versions are not as good but I've sold to users who were looking for good steel in a vintage Sheffield-made chisel and could have had newer versions for less.  (Yes, I've had multiple sets.)
This chisel set was my first - probably in the very early 90s.  The chisels show a few signs of their age and usage but are still presentable.  Not so the original wooden box (included) -- it's cracked in a couple of places (seasonal wood movement) and the catch is not good.  Still it organizes and protects the chisels.
Despite the iconic blue plastic handles I've used these for chopping dovetails and they don't show it (the difference between tapping and pounding?).  They are also very good for paring.  A comfortable grip.  I recommend them.
