    Description

    This is a very rare Monroe 7860 Magnetic Ledger Accounting System.  It is based on an NEC D8741 Universal Peripheral Interface 8-Bit Microcomputer processor chip.  The keyboard features SMK mechanical keyswitches.  It contains an integrated microcassette drive for storage and an internal dot matrix printer.  Unfortunately it does not power up.  The power supply emits a momentary and very faint high-pitched "whining" sound when the power switch is flipped, indicating perhaps that the capacitors need to be replaced.  Sold as is.
