This oLd postcard features the Public Library in New York City, which is located on Fifth Avenue covering two entire blocks.  It is built entirely of marble and cost ,000,000.  The corner stone was laid on Nov 10, 1902 and the library was opened on May 23, 1911.  The main stock room is 270 feet long, contains 1,600,000 volumes and has 7000 periodicals on file.  © by American Studios in NY and published by Manhattan Post Card Company.
