This book is dedicated to the award, prize and gift cold weapons of the Russian army of the early twentieth century. In the daily life of the troops of the 1900s – 1910s premium and prize weapons were widely used on a par with conventional, and thus it is an integral part of the appearance of officers, and in some cases, and the lower ranks of the Russian army of the period. Each of the four chapters of the book is devoted to one type of weapon: Anninsky (weapons with the sign of the order of St. Anna 4th art.), St. George, prize weapons and weapons, presented as gifts. Like previous works of the series “Weapons of the great war”, this book considers weapons primarily from the point of view of the soldier.
