    Description

For sale is a custom built Vintage Desktop computer. This computer is a Texas Instruments 486 DLC 40 MHz with an awesome LCD display giving the PC MHz frequency - the frequency is stuck on 20MHz for turbo mode (depressing the turbo button disengages the yellow turbo light and sets the computer to run at 20MHz) but is still cool nonetheless. The computer comes in a baby AT case with the following:
-Texas Instruments 486 DLC 40 MHz processor with
4C87DLC-40 Math Co-Processor/Floating Point Unit (image 1, 2, 10). The motherboard is a 386 board upgraded to 486 and performs slightly slower than a regular 486DX at 33MHz (image 1)
-Trident Graphics Card with 1MB Video Memory (image 1, 8, 9)
    -20MB RAM (4X 1MB 30 pin sticks and 4X 4MB 30 pin sticks, no free slots) (image 2, 9, 10)
    -
1GB Compact Flash Card (image 2, 8) with DOS 6.22 (image 3, 4, 5, 8) and Windows for Workgroups 3.11 (image 7) installed - Compact Flash card is set up as an IDE drive on Drive C (using Dynamic Drive Overlay to enable use of drives larger than 512MB) and can be removed from the back of the computer - this makes file transferring a breeze as you can connect the CF card to a modern computer and transfer games and apps, then pop the CF card back into the computer for immediate access (image 11). Includes some games and Microsoft Office.
-1.44 MB floppy drive (Drive A) - drive is tested working
    (image 1, 2, 12)
    -Sony FX920S 8X CD-ROM (Drive D) - drive is tested working and reads CD and CD-R (not CD-RW) discs (image 1, 2, 3, 8, 12)
-Sound Blaster 16 Vibra Sound Card CT 4170 (image 4, 9) - tested working and detected with all drivers and support for DOS and Windows 3.11
    -
Ports: Serial x2, Parallel x1, AT keyboard, Gameport, and VGA (image 10, 11)
-Slots: 5 16-bit ISA (three in use, two free), 1 8-bit ISA (free) (image 9)
Also included are several DOS games (images 5 & 6). This computer is suited for older DOS games. Games like Wolfenstein 3D (image 6) play great, but DOOM is more taxing and requires an extremely low resolution to be playable.
No monitor, keyboard, mouse, or cables are included (only shown to demonstrate computer works). Desktop Computer only.
Please note this computer uses a VARTA barrel-style CMOS battery (image 10). The battery is long dead and the computer does not keep time or retain settings. You will need to set the clock and BIOS settings (Floppy Drive A as 1.44MB, and auto-detect hard drive) to boot the computer. Luckily the battery has not leaked like most of these VARTA batteries have, but the process is starting and you will need to replace the battery. Also note there is some rust on the inside of the case (image 9) as well as top and side of the outer case and a chip in the top left of the front bezel (image 12).
    Please note there are
