SR-71 BLACKBIRD
B.F. GOODRICH Aircraft Tire
NOS (New Old Stock)
Decommissioned tire no longer used on aircraft.
Tire wasn't ever flown or attached to the plane.
This is the tire that was manufactured for the SR-71.

The condition of this item is in new manufactured state still wrapped in it's original brown paper. One photo that I provided shows what the tire looks like when it is unwrapped. Tire photo that I provided isn't this tire unwrapped but an example of what the tire looks like under the wrapping. The wrapping has one small opening enough to see the top of the tire. The rest of the tire is still wrapped. The tire is silver due to the process they B.F. Goodrich provided for heat issues on landings requested by LOCKHEED. The original box is torn open and there is packing tape around the outer box. So the box is worn. The labels are still readable on the box.
