Rare Vintage MOS Microcomputers KIM-1 Microcomputer with Ceramic IC's, Power Supply with Cord and Switch, 3 Original Manuals and Misc Extras and User Group Booklets. Date codes on IC's are xx76 or 76xx.
Also includes origional KIM-1 USER Manual, HARDWARE Manual, PROGRAMMING Manual, 2 extra 44 pin edge connectors (not shown) and Misc related booklets.
Powers up, keyboard and display operation checked, address and data values entered in hex and verified on display, and working as expected - no further testing done.
The KIM-1 (Keyboard Input Monitor) microcomputer is the grand-daddy of all 6502 microprocessors systems. It was originally created by MOS Technology, the inventor of the 6502 microprocessor, as a way to demonstrate the power of the 6502 to the industrial community.
Soon after release, Commodore Business Machines would buy out MOS Technologies and distribute the KIM-1 with a Commodore name on it.
