1) If you buy more than one item (in any category), you get a break on shipping. Wait for a combined invoice before paying, as then you will get the

combined shipping rate.
2) If an ephemera item is listed for over .99, it is sent First Class Package with a piece of cardboard at a higher shipping rate.
However,
if you purchase 1 to 3 historic pieces of ephemera, each for .99 or less, it can be shipped via a standard envelope (as long as it isn't too large). This is without cardboard, but has cardstock cradling the card which is reliable as well as much cheaper. So, if buying 1 to 3 items under .99, wait for an invoice to save money.
3) Finally, if offering .99 or less on a buy it now (BIN) historical ephemera item, that is originally .00 or more, wait for an invoice too. That way the shipping amount can be adjusted and you can enjoy the

shipping rate.
