    Description

In this listing we have a really nice replacement doll body. This doll body was released by Mattel as part of the Fashionista line. This doll body has a medium skin tone. This is the “Curvy” body and has the flat feet mold. This doll body is articulated at the neck, shoulders, and hips. This doll body was made in Indonesia. My pictures came out a little light, her skin tone is a couple shades darker in person.
This doll body is in good condition. This body has never been played with and was just removed from the box. The doll’s neck knob looks good. There is some stress marks to the top of the neck know and some warping to the posts at the top of the neck knob. These wouldn’t affect using a new head on the body.
The doll’s torso looks good. She does have some minor scratches and scuffs to her hard-plastic torso, including a more obvious one above her right breast. In a few spots the torso has a more matte finish compared to the shinier finish of the rest of the torso. There is also an issue where there are some faint molded in lines to the torso. They’re not something you can feel, but if you look at the doll closely in the light you can see them. It’s almost like an issue with the coloring of the plastic. The side seams and shoulder seams are a little sloppy. They do have some glue around the edges and some sanding marks. They might need to be cleaned up. The doll’s arms look ok. They also have some minor scratches to them. The doll’s upper arms have a more textured look to them compared to the lower arm. It’s hard to explain, but the upper arm doesn’t look as smooth as the lower arm. It is smooth, but it doesn’t look it. The upper arms are a little too big for her shoulders. This causes the hard plastic at the shoulder to cut into the softer plastic of the arm. Both arms have some small scratches from it, but they will get worse with use. The doll’s legs look good. She does have the issue where her upper legs have a shiny finish, but around the knees it changes to a matte finish for the lower leg. She does have a few molded in lines to her upper legs. On the back of the doll’s legs she has some weird finish issues, where the plastic looks to have some unusual bumpy texture. It’s just something you can see, but you can’t feel it. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll body and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
This listing is for the doll body alone, the stand shown is not included.
