Schwinn Razor Quill Stem Reproduction - 22.2 / 25.4 - USED

Description

Used reproduction stem in very nice (but not 100% perfect) condition. The stem itself is really, really nice and really presentable, but there are a few small things to note:
The edge between the razor line and the quill has some small surface rust and there are a few small marks here and there (most notably a small nick on the quill neck on the left hand side - visible in photo #3), but it's overall
very presentable. The quill bolt washer is NOT original and is
really
ugly. Someone also whacked the stem bolt a few times from the looks of it, but that, of course, is an easy swap with another stem of the same length.
Note that this stem does
not
have "AS" marked bolts and differs slightly from the 1995 reproduction stems produced for the Phantoms. Perhaps grey market? Chinese production based on the '95 tooling? I don't know - please look at the photos and judge for yourself. The chrome on this stem is deep and impressive, so it's definitely a
nice
repro.
The clamp diameter is 25.4mm/1" as usual, and the quill diameter is 22.2mm as typical on
pre-1966
Schwinns.
DO NOT BUY THIS if you have a 21.1mm steerer tube, it will not fit. MEASURE BEFORE BUYING, PLEASE!
