Schwinn Sting-Ray 1967-1968 Krate Fastback Stik Shifter 3 Speed Bicycle & Cable

This auction is for a vintage 1967-1968 Schwinn 3 speed shifter and cable. This might not be the correct cable and pulley for 3 speed bikes. The pulley does not have the spacer. The cable is just what came with the bike it is off of so I am just adding it to the shifter. This shifter will work on Fastbacks, Sting-Ray 3 Speed and Stik-Shift bikes from 1967 to 1968. It is in average used condition with some discolored places, nicks, scratches, wear and pitting spots from rust with some chrome loss. There is pitting in the ribs of the shifter handle like a lot of them you see. The back plate is really pitted from rust.....I would replace it and all of the screws. The screws are not good either. The front cover decal looks to be original and in fairly good condition. There is rust on the inside of the front cover and some on the inside of the body that faces the back plate. Where the shifter handle is attached it is clean on the inside. At about 2:30 on the front cover on the rib outside the decal.......there is a ground down flattened out spot on that rib. Overall, a fair to average looking vintage part. I am parting out several Schwinn bikes as well as selling some surplus Schwinn Sting-Ray and 26 inch bike parts so please check for more I have listed or will be listing.
