Schwinn straight bar tank

Description

There was a firm that advertised that they was able to paint chrome. I spent 5.00 to have the tank done. After painting it, a few months later the painted on chrome started deteriorating. I found another tank and had it chromed the correct way. I'm passing this information on to warn others. The tank is in very good condition.
It should be possible to paint over the faded chrome.
