    Description

    This item is a handmade wool pouch brought to me from Turkmenistan, which can be used to carry money, small cards, a small cell phone or various other valuable items with a strap hanging around the neck.     It is 3.5 inches by 5 inches and the strap is about 24" in total.   My picture shows the piece with its tradition weave pattern on the front as well as the back.    This has never been used and is, of course, not at all a common item since travel to Turkmenistan is so limited for U.S. and other western residents.
