Vintage Collectible Carbide Riemann Bicycle Headlight

HThis is a vintage Riemann carbide Brass bicycle headlight. It has a brass finish. These were made to be used on bicycles fore traveling at night at a time when the bicycle were a common form of transportation. I am not sure of the history or age of the light since it was a estate sale item.  As you can see in the photos it has normal use wear that includes some small dents. Also the lens is missing.
