  • Condition: This has quite a bit of rust or rust pitting. Still is real solid and is real nice and straight and I do not see any major dents or kinks. There is a real noticeable scratch with rust in the white paint at the top of the "J". Leave as is or restore. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS for a better idea of the condition.

    Description

    ITEM:
    This clamp-on chain guard was removed from a 1950s J.C. Higgins 26 inch men’s balloon tank bike model. It has a maroon paint with a white stripe. The measurement from the front edge of the mounting clamp (where the screw goes thru the round clamp) to the center of the rear mounting hole is approximately 22 ¾ inches long; the total length of the guard is approximately 23 ½ inches long.
    CONDITION:
    This has quite a bit of rust or rust pitting. Still is real solid and is real nice and straight and I do not see any major dents or kinks. There is a real noticeable scratch with rust in the white paint at the top of the "J". Leave as is or restore. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS for a better idea of the condition.
