Mid Century Modern Tapestry / Abstract Wall Art
Beautiful Woven Wool piece of Wall Art, features a chunky fiber in three main colors Reddish-Brown, a mixed strand brown, a soft white and the natural fiber used fur the background(which feels like a soft jute), the piece does not include a rod for hanging but has the fold to adapt one to it for as long as it does not exceed 1" wide.
The prior owner lived in many areas of Europe during the late 60's and most of the 70's as an auditor for the US Government, his wife was German, much of their furnishings came from Germany so it is hard to tell if maybe this particular piece made the voyage with them or was purchased in the 70's once they arrived to the States.
