Vintage WW2 1940's Red Paper Folding Lunch Box-Nice Condition for Year. My friend was born in 1939, and when he started school  metal was rationed. This is a folding paper lunchbox. It is in good condition considering the year. It is made of red cardboard, and is missing the string that tied it together. It has a bit of a musty smell from being stored in his basement for all of these years. Folded it is 8" wide, and 4 inches tall, and 1/2 inch wide. Open it is 8" by 4" by 4" wide. It is red in color with a kind of leather look pattern. Can be shipped in a 6x9 moisture proof padded envelope
