Vintage WW2 GRUEN Military Surplus RF MICROAMPERE GAUGE Unused

Description

A superb precision instrument manufactured by the renowned Gruen Watch Co.
Marked “Made in USA by GRUEN Watch Co. Cincinnati, Ohio” which would date this gauge
to the 1940’s / World War II era.
Gruen joined the war effort under subcontract
with Triplett and produced these meters for the U.S. Signal Corps
This gauge is in unused vintage / antique condition
Glass is excellent with no scratches or cracks
Fantastic Bakelite case
Two brass terminal posts with washers show no sign of corrosion
Original screws attached
Reads MICROAMPERES 0 – 150
Model or patent number of MR25S150DCU
1 ¼” deep housing excluding posts (1 inch deep behind bezel)
Diameter of face is 2 ⅝”
Marked on back in orange paint but illegible to me (see photo)
