This is a original World War Two Grumman F6F Hellcat Aircraft Carrier Fighter Plane G meter indicator gauge instrument. This instrument also known as a accelerometer measure how many G's the pilot is experiencing. The gauge is in excellent condition . It is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 4 inches. This gauge would have been used in many different aircraft.The Hellcat was U.S. Navy's front line fighter from 1943 until the end of World War Two.This outstanding fighter plane was able to completely dominate the dogfights fought in the Pacific. The USN's Highest scoring ace David McCampbell flew the Hellcat.Today the Hellcat is a rare aircraft and very few are left flying out of over 12000 made!
