This is an original WW2 or Later USN & USMC Chance Vought F4U-1 Corsair Fighter Aircraft Type Manifold Pressure Engine Gauge instrument. The gauge is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The pressure gauge reads from 0 to 75. It is marked Type D-18. It is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches. This is the famous Corsair of VMF-214 Baa Baa Black Sheep and VF-17 Jolly Rogers. The Corsair served in the USMC, USN, French Navy and was also called Bent wing bird, and whistling death. This manifold pressure gauge was used in many AAF ,USN and USMC aircraft such as the SBD, F4F, F6F, P-51, P-47, P-40, SB2C, etc. We accept payment by PayPal in US dollars only.
